The Exchange Main Stage is a community performance facility available for use to the general public, accommodating 238 individuals. It is not a nightclub nor is it available for weddings.The Cultural Exchange partners with community groups, presenters and artists to tailor facility costs to proposed events, performances, meetings etc. Cultural Exchange staff lend a hand with promotion and advise clients on project viability.
The Exchange is only open for a ticketed concert and thusly considered an exempt concert venue under Regulation 186 of the Foreign Workers Manual. The Exchange is only open during a ticketed event with doors opening 30 minutes before show time and is closed directly following performances.
The Main Stage venue features a sound system, digital media equipment, and lighting system provided through the auspices of Canadian Heritage. Cultural Exchange staff handles all refreshment sales and a theatre liquor permit allows underage patrons to frequent the facility. Patrons of legal age must have valid picture identification.
The Club Stage comes equipped with a PA system that doesn't require a sound tech making it perfect for small acts both local and on tour. This is the perfect stage for singer/songwriters to develop their performance chops and build an audience.
