Cultural Exchange Presents

The Cultural Exchange Presents series uses both it’s venues - the Exchange stage and the Club stage.
 
The Cultural Exchange is committed to excellence as a presenter of new and emerging artists. The Cultural Exchange provides professional production, promotion, and staff for each and every event it presents. Close ties and passion for music enables the Cultural Exchange to keep its finger on the pulse, essentially presenting the artists of tomorrow, today. Past artists have included internationally renowned recording artists such as Tegan & Sarah, Crystal Castles, and Shad, who was nominated for the 2008 Polaris Music Prize.

In 2008/2009 the Exchange increased its "presents" activities, by involvement with local artists; producing and hosting CD release events for over a dozen local and Saskatchewan based artists, including Rah Rah, Library Voices, Deep Dark Woods, Sylvie, Activate, Molten Lava, Invasion, Amour Fou, Polymaths, Westport Murders, Bob Evans, Richard Groulx, Ariel Mura, Lazy Mks, and Into Eternity.

Many artists who perform at the Exchange have gone on to play major festivals and large scale venues throughout the province including Broken Social Scene (Regina Folk Festival), Constantines (Gateway Festival), Stars (University of Regina Welcome Week), etc.

Current Culture Exchange Presents performances scheduled for M 2009 include, in addition to Saskatchewan performers, artists from across Canada as well as Israel, Brazil, Ireland, England, New Zealand, Finland, France, and The United States.
